Metadrone is a code generation tool that was born when some particular idiosyncrasies of software developers were recognised:

• We prefer to do less of the “boring” aspects of enterprise, information-driven, data-in data-out programming. Unfortunately most software is like this since most specialised business needs are data-centric.
• This results in frustration and de-motivation with menial coding for data access, and not being able to focus on the more creative and customised aspects of development.
• Developers have a strong urge for maximum efficiency and wish to avoid as much human error as possible with creating this particular kind of code.
• It is important to have the confidence to change the data model “at a whim” so the developer can fully embrace to the evolutionary nature of software.

The project is a one-man show for now, done in my spare time; but I have great plans for Metadrone and want to journal what I have learned. I look forward to your feedback and learning from you so we can make Metadrone a fantastic product.
